In the 1980s, we began collecting and supplying native Florida seeds to Walt Disney World and other specialty retailers, where visitors could take home a small piece of Florida’s natural beauty. What started as a small operation built on passion for native plants quickly began to grow.

As demand increased and the business expanded beyond theme parks and gift shops, an opportunity arose to take the next step. We acquired Merseeco, already serving nurseries across central Florida, from a trusted seed supplier — marking our evolution from those early roots into a dedicated wholesale seed company. From that moment forward, Merseeco focused on serving professional growers and nurseries with a reliable supply of exceptional quality seeds.

Over the years, Merseeco has steadily expanded throughout Florida and across the United States. While Florida nurseries remain the heart of our business, we are always proud to welcome new nursery partners from anywhere in the country. Our roots remain firmly planted in Florida. Much of our seed supply comes directly from responsible collection throughout the state’s diverse natural habitats.
